Blue Mountain Ski Resort

The Blue Mountains, Ontario, Canada

Ontario’s largest ski resort, Blue Mountain, tops the list with its extensive array of terrain and the natural beauty of the area. It’s a two hour drive from Toronto, has seven lifts, 43 runs, night skiing, a terrain park and 720 feet of vertical skiing. You’ll find wide groomers, bumps, and off-piste tree runs, terrain parks and the most challenging glad runs in Ontario. Calabogie Peaks Resort

It’s one of the region’s favorite Alpine ski destinations with two speedy quad lifts, 24 groomed trails and a 751-foot vertical drop. Searchmont Resort

Perched on the Canadian Shield more than seven hours from Toronto, Searchmont is a quieter resort with lots of natural snow. It has one of the best vertical drops in Ontario at 700 feet and 21 runs as well as terrain parks. Its location near Lake Superior provides lots of snow coverage and the area’s unique geology provides excellent terrain.

Mount St Louis Moonstone

Coldwater, Ontario, Canada

Just west of Orillia in Ontario’s snow belt, Mount St. Louis Moonstone is a premier ski resort about one and half hours from Toronto. It’s been in operation since 1964 and has the most advanced snowmaking system. You’ll find 170 acres of skiable terrain and 35 runs across the two mountain slopes. But the real draw here is the resorts four terrain parks offering over 60 features including staircases with handrails, multiple half-pipes, 50- to 60-foot kickers and North America’s longest rail at 140 feet.
