Located in western Wyoming’s Teton Village, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is just 15 miles from the Jackson Hole Airport and Grand Teton National Park. The resort has the largest lift-accessed vertical drop in the country, at over 4,000 feet, and a summit height of 10,450 feet. It gets more than 500 inches of snowfall annually – one of the highest in the country and offers unprecedented access to out-of-bounds terrain. Grand Targhee Resort

Grand Targhee Resort is known for its deep powder and excellent terrain options. It’s right near the Idaho border within the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, on with west side of the Grand Tetons. It offers an excellent trail system with 95 runs, 2,602 acres of skiable terrain and a vertical drop of 2,270 feet. It’s a powder lovers paradise with spectacular scenery, great snow and fun diverse terrain. The resort also has a nature center, snowcat skiing, adaptive sports offerings, Nordic skiing, fat biking and tubing.

Sleeping Giant Ski Area

Cody, Wyoming

Just outside Yellowstone National Park, Sleeping Giant Ski Area offers 184 acres of skiable terrain and a 6,619 foot vertical drop. The resort sits on the banks of the Shoshone River in the Absaroka Mountain Range and gets about 300 inches of snow each year. The resort features 49 runs and two terrain parks and is known as an incredibly affordable resort.

Beartooth Basin Ski Area

Park County, Wyoming

Beartooth Basin is in the beautiful Shoshone National Forest by the Montana border. You’ll find some of the best skiing in Wyoming for advanced skiers here on the resort’s Twin Lakes Headwall Terrain. It’s served by two high-speed platter lifts and provides 600 acres of skiing terrain with pitches ranging from 15 degrees to a heart-stopping 50 degrees. You’ll also find some of the best steep headwall and cornice skiing around. The summit elevation reaches an impressive 10,900 feet, with 1,000 vertical feet of lift-serviced terrain. There is an additional 3,000 vertical feet of shuttled or hike-in backcountry skiing and riding as well.

Green Mountain

Saratoga, Wyoming

Brush Creek Ranch offers a bold adventure for those seeking a private mountain experience. Green Mountain is a private 600-acre ski haven located within the Medicine Bow National Forest. It’s a mountain sanctuary with sweeping panoramic vistas and premier downhill skiing and snowboarding for 16 guests at a time. It has 1,200 vertical feet of ski trails; 12 groomed trails and 6 glade trails accessible only by your private heated snowcat.
